Educational platform to support language teachers

Challenge

EnglishCafe came to us backed by what was once a prestigious accelerator, Programa Minerva, standing out for its innovative concept that combined the charm of learning languages in cafes with the digitalisation of learning. Their vision was clear: to create a platform that was very similar in user experience to Airbnb, but this time for language learning, allowing teachers to monetise teaching from home.

Implementation

We developed a multifaceted platform, capable of supporting multiple levels of access for administrators, teachers, and students. The platform had to be intuitive, yet robust enough to handle the complexity of connecting language teachers and students in a digitalised environment, through 1 on 1 classes, courses with several students, and others.

Result

The project exceeded all expectations. We not only facilitated an innovative space for language learning and teaching but also established a sustainable business model for EnglishCafe. This success culminated in the sale of the project to a company interested in integrating it into its portfolio, validating the impact and effectiveness of our solution.
