Kleta

Bicycle leasing application

Challenge

The Kleta team presented us with an exciting challenge: to bring their startup to life by creating an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) that transformed bicycle rental into a digital experience. Their ambition was to build a solution that not only facilitated the rental process through subscription but also digitalised customer service, including fault reporting with geolocation to optimise the repair service. Moreover, they sought to innovate by incorporating a gamification system that rewarded users for every kilometre travelled, thus incentivising bicycle use.

Implementation

Our approach to this project was holistic, covering everything from UI/UX design to complete server, front-end, back-end, and DevOps development. We took charge of all stages, from conception to launch, including uploading the applications to stores and their subsequent maintenance. We implemented a geolocation system for fault reporting, a user profile for managing subscriptions, and an innovative points system for kilometres travelled to gamify the experience. This holistic approach allowed us to deliver a robust and appealing solution that perfectly met the client’s needs.

Result

Kleta’s MVP was enthusiastically received by the internal team and a select group of beta users, who thoroughly tested it. Although the application demonstrated its potential to revolutionise the bicycle rental service, strategic decisions influenced by changes in business direction and investor priorities led to the application being put on hold. Despite not being released to the general public, the project left a significant mark on Kleta, demonstrating what can be achieved with cutting-edge technology and a clear vision. Although it remains unused for now, the future may bring new opportunities for this innovative solution to reach its potential subscribers.
